Technology without wire of transmission with high flow with broad range (50 kilometers)

Description

Commercial name of technology without wire 802.16 pushed by a consortium of around fifty of members, whose INTEL, Nokia, Fujitsu Microelectronics and China Motion Telecom, Wimax is a standard of transmission without wire with high flow. Functioning to 70 maximum Mbit/s, it is designed to connect the access points Wi-Fi to an optical fibre network, or to relay a connection shared to high-flow towards multiple users. With a theoretical range of 50 km, it should allow, in the long term, the development of underground railway networks (MAN) resting on a single access point, unlike an architecture bassée on many access points theoretical Wi-Fi.La maximum Band-width offered by Wimax 70 Mbit/s is at a distance of 50 km. In exploitation the operators count on a real flow of 10 Mbit/s out of 8 km.
