Tim Berners-Lee
Inventor of the World Wide Web and directing W3C.
Born London has on June 8, 1955, it makes studies higher than Queen' S College in Oxford of 1973 to 1976. In 1980, within the framework of a mission of council on behalf of the CERN (European Organization for the nuclear research) in Geneva, it proposes a project of information management which contains the first steps of the hypertext. It is in 1989 that it proposes the hypertext draft, again with the CERN. It conceives in 1990 first waiter HTTP and the first Navigator Web whom it names "WorldWideWeb" after having hesitated with "Mesh Information" and "Information Mines". In 1994, it melts the W3C and takes the direction of it.
