Solar Absorption
Solar absorption is a natural phenomenon thanks to which it matter captures the photons of the solar radiation and transforms them into heat.
The absorption coefficient of a surface expresses by a number ranging between 0 and 1 the percentage of the incidental radiant energy absorptive by this surface. The remainder of the solar radiation, either is reflected and diffused, or transmitted (thanks to the transparency of material).
