Definition
A slotting machine is a machine tool for the clothes industry of mortises in the wood works.
Description
Various types: - Chain cutter mortising machine: the tool of évidage is a chain which works in rotation like a Slicer the butts and the cheeks of the mortise are rectilinear but the bottom is round. - Slot mortising machine: the tool of évidage is a drill which works like a drilling machine. The cheeks and the bottom of the mortise are rectilinear but the butts are rounded. - knife Slotting machine: the tool of évidage is a square chisel. The butts, the cheeks and the bottom of the mortise are perfectly rectilinear.
