Shaping - Clay building
Out of ceramics, one calls shaping the various types of assembly of a not turned clay part.
1. shaping with the plate: one or more clay plates are assembled to form an object 2. shaping with the wad: one forms ground rolls which one assembles the ones on the others to assemble the object. 3. shaping by pinching off - or with the pellet: small pieces of ground are gripped the ones on the others to work out various statuettes or objects 4. shaping in hollow: one hollows out with the fingers a piece of clay. The wall must remain equal thickness.
