Session
A session makes it possible to store information on a Net surfer throughout his visit on a site.
When a Web site records a session, it will record it in several ways: - In the data base of the site to associate information this session - In the cookies or the URL of access to the Web site (often present in the form session=xxx). Examples of use: - To remain identified on a forum. - To know, for statistical reasons, the course of the Net surfers visiting a Web site. - To manage a basket and orders on a site of purchase on line.
