Description

SSH is a very complete program which would take tens of pages to be described completely. It makes it possible to be connected in a way protected to a UNIX waiter Under Linux it is installed in the basic configuration for almost all the distributions; under Windows you can use a software such as Putty to connect you. Its main thing intéret is that its protocol of connection is protected. Indeed, it authenticates the user like his machine and uses algorythmes which guarantee the data confidentiality exchanged. At the time of connection your customer SSH recoit "RSA key fingerprint" who is one impressed waiter on which you have just connected you. This print is checked with each new connection. If it is modified you be informed. It protects a network from the attacks by IP spoofing, IP routing source and spoofing of DNS. To connect you to SSH you need your login and password, for the IP of the machine, it is necessary of course that sshd is installed on the waiter. With SSH you have the possibility of making a "carryforward display" what enables you to transfer posting from a station to the other on your network.
