Probatory licence
The probatory licence is a Driving licence of which the number of points is voluntarily attached to 6 instead of 12 for a Driving licence normal.
Having only 6 points, the recently-qualified drivers must make a course without fault during three years (or two years if they followed an anticipated training of control) to obtain 12 points. The drivers whose licence was cancelled or invalidated, and certain categories of drivers are also concerned. The probatory licence applies since March 1, 2004 to very new holder of the Driving licence
