Preventive maintenance
Definition
Planned maintenance aiming at anticipating the maintenance actions.
Description
One distinguishes 2 levels from preventive maintenance: - preventive Maintenance of Level 1: maintenance planned and carried out by the service production (often of the trained operators) according to a preset range - preventive Maintenance of Level 2: maintenance planned and carried out by the service maintenance according to a preset range (planning of preventive maintenance)
