Mosaic
The mosaic is a decorative art where one uses pieces of marble, enamel, glass, ceramics or of plates, assembled on a support using adhesive to form geometrical reasons or figurative representations. The constituent pieces a mosaic are called the tesselles
Old art, in antiquity the mosaic was carried out with small pieces of stone (tesselles). Nowadays almost all the materials are used: broken plates (picassiettes), smalt, rollers Japanese, glass, mirror, emaux, balls of glass, molten glass...
