Definition
Engineer at Google since 2000, it worked out the parental filter and works now on the quality of the results of the search engine.
Description
Graduate of the University of North Carolina with Chapel Hill, holder of a thesis (Ph.D), Matt Cutts is one of the most known engineers de Google. Arrived at Google in 2000, it initially developed the parental filter SafeSearch, making it possible to remove the adult sites of the pages of results (only in English language). Since, it holds the role (nonofficial?) of technical spokesman of the search engine. Thus, it intervenes in forums in addition to the Atlantic, especially of the moment of Google Dance (some think that it intervenes under the famous pseudo one of GoogleGuy . It is also often expressed in the conferences and seminars of referencing. Since August 2005, it holds rich Blog of information for the webmasters interested by Google, and in particular by referencing in Google. Its work consists to measure and improve quality of the results of the engine. It thus connait well the techniques of Spamdexing which it tries to limit.
