Definition
‰tymologiquement, the hotel term indicates any building intended to receive hosts. If those are of passage, one speaks about tourist hotel. But the term of hotel can also apply to the town halls of the large cities (town hall), at the hospitals (Hospital)
Description
A hotel is an establishment offering a service of paying lodging, generally for short periods. The hotels often offer several other services to their customers, such as the restoration, a swimming pool or the guard of children. Some offer services of conference and conference rooms and encourage the groups to hold to with it of the congresses and the meetings. The hotels are distinguished from the motels by the fact that in the latter, the access to the room is done by outside, whereas in the hotels, the access to the room is generally done by the interior, which can increase the safety of the customers and give a top-of-the-range image to the establishment. One generally uses the terms "pub" or "bar" in other countries to indicate this type of establishment, but these terms are regarded as being synonyms in the everyday usage in Australia. In India, the word "hotel" can also refer to a restaurant since the best restaurants were always located there close to a good hotel.
