Definition
Dog greyhound, used for the hunting of hare in Spain in the center and the South of the country.
Description
After season of hunting the galgos are given up per thousands. A great number of them are tortured or hung by the hunters which one calls galgueros. A galgo is splendid Chien of company, it sticks much has its Master. The galgo is timid, soft and requires câlins. It likes to lie down on the settee. It is thin, slender and it has pace. Its tail is long and its pointed muzzle. There are associations for the defense of the galgo, which are occupied of making adopt the galgos which are rejected hunting.
