DefinitionThe folksonomies represent a means for the users of an application or a Web site to allot keywords which theirs are clean with given contents. DescriptionConcretely, the principle of the folksonomies corresponds to a kind of collaboratif classification of the data of a site, with for objective facilitating the access to the contents since they are the users who characterize it.
Currently, of good examples of use of the folksonomies are the sites flickr.com and del.icio.us.
