Fingering chart
A fingering chart is a musical Partition for string instruments, allowing an easier reading of the Partition This format is very much used by the guitarist.
To create a fingering chart, one represents each cord of the instrument by a horizontal line, possibly preceded by a letter informing on it note must be granted the cord (example: With for the note, B for the note If, C for the note C, etc...). A fingering chart of guitar will thus be represented by 6 horizontal lines, preceded by the letters E, B, G, D, A, and E (for the semi notes, if, ground, D, the and semi one of the traditional tuning). Then, one notes using a figure the position of the fingers on the cord.
