 Econology

Definition

The econology is the neologism resulting from the contraction of the words economy and ecology.

Description

It is a recent term which was born with the beginning from the years 1990 when the conscience of the impact of the human activities on the terrestrial ecosystem started to touch general public. The goal of this site is to show that it is possible to reconcile economy and ecology. The economy term must be taken in the direction of the money saving, like in its broader direction: i.e. the whole of the activities of a human community relating to the production, distribution and the consumption of the richnesses. Thus it is urgent to see being born a world ecological economy taking of account the environmental impact in a systematic way. The ideal would be cavity to do it without blocking the economic growth. Unfortunately, much of leaders, industrialists and policies, see in ecology an obstacle with the economic growth! This is completely false in condition of judicious technological developments!
