DefinitionWeb site whose contents of the pages are not fixed but variable according to the hour, of the visitor or other parameters. DescriptionThe concept of dynamic Web site is opposed to that of static site.
A static site is only made up of pages HTML, created one by one by a webmaster. Within this framework, each modification of page asks for the republication of the latter and a new installation on the waiter.
Within the framework of a dynamic site, the contents and the presentation of the pages can be managed independently. Thus, the webmaster defines a layout grid in which can post "dynamically" contents, generally extracts from a data base. The modifications to be made to the site are thus lighter since they require the access only to one file or the text present in a base.
Another great advantage of the dynamic sites, the contents posted in each page can be selected according to various parameters: number of article, hour of the day, etc. It is also possible that these contents are created on line by various users of the site. Lastly, the dynamic sites allow the management of a community of users, the profile of each one of them which can be regarded as an element to post or a parameter to use to personalize the contents of the pages.
The construction of dynamic sites very often rests on technologies of scripts such as PHP, ASP or ColdFusion.
The sites of topicality on line, the forums or the management tools of contents are the most current examples of dynamic sites. AuthorMd. Ismail Author Emailm.ismail.ctg@gmail.com References
