The word also returns to more varied realities. Indeed, one generally calls "dressmaker" the person who not only has a know-how recognized as regards vestimentary clothes industry but also directs a couture house. In particular, one frequently speaks about dressmaker in the haute couture and vestimentary creation about luxury when one refers to the great names of the mode. With female (dressmaker), the term with a "noble" direction less but also more reduced. It then nominates the person whose trade is to sew.
