Dermatologist
Definition
The dermatologist (commonly called dermato) is the doctor specialist in the skin, the mouth, the external genitals, the nails and the scalp.
Description
In France, the dermatologist also treats the sexually transmitted diseases. The dermatologist is also the specialist in the esthetics of the skin and it is qualified to correct the imperfections caused by the age and the sun, the after-effects of the skin diseases or the accidents. Certain dermatologist practise also surgical operations to remove the tumours of the skin and carry out aesthetic interventions like the interventions with the laser and the Clerc's Offices of hair.
