Aikido
Aikido: (Japanese word meaning "way of the unification of energies") martial arts of Japanese origin created at the XXá§me century by Moriheï UESHIBA (1883-1969).
Defined like a "martial arts of peace", it is characterized by nonthe use of the force and the respect of the partner, with for objective leading to the only victory right: that which makes neither victorious, nor overcome. The techniques call upon movements of torsion, rotation or hyperextension of the articulations of the body of the attacker, making it possible to project it or to control it, after having unbalanced it thanks to a displacement aiming at dodging the attack. With the practice with naked hands a practice with weapons is added: the jô, stick out of wooden of approximately 1m30 length, and the boken, sabre of drive out of wood.
