Programming language structured, developed on the initiative of the American army.

Description

The Ada language was the only one which started from a specification to arrive at a software implementation. The Ada acronym was selected in homage to the assistant of Babbage, Ada Byron, recognized like the first programmer of the world. This programming language to strong constraint, in particular in typing, encloses the programmer in a corset which the majority consider unbearable. The first invitation to tender of DoD (the Defence Department of the US army) date of 1979, and its first implementation of 1984. 2 standards exist in connection with this language, the initial standard, going back to 1983 and one second, of 1995, reinforcing its safety (which was an enormous weak point) and allowing the directed programming object. The Ada language knew an important commercial failure
