Definition

Google AdWords is a programme of publicity in self-service to the performance which allows the advertisers of poster their sponsored links on Web fields such as Google, AOL, Ask and others.

Description

Being based on a system of keywords and using the format text primarily, the program functions at the cost by click (CPC), i.e. the advertisers pay only when one clicks on their commercial links. The position of the advertisement is given at the same time by its rate of click (CTR, relevance) and the sum which the advertiser agrees to pay with each click (bidding). Google places at the disposal of its advertisers and partners a complete range of customer services and leading articles designed to facilitate the relevance of the advertisements and to measure the impact of the campaigns.
