Automatic exchange of use in certain companies and industries for which the density of telephones require a thorough system of reception and sorting of the calls. A PABX works as well numerically as into analogical, and has one or more interfaces connected to the public network for the external communications. Several models are available a few tens of stations to several thousands. Several PABX can be inter-connected between them in a homogeneous way to form a network (nodes) but can be also to inter-connect between them in a heterogeneous way (for the different manufacturers for example). A PABX can integrate several applications like the voice messaging, automatic standard, the DISA, taxation, the hotel application or hospital, the ACD.
