Firewire
Firewire is a Port high flow available on the computers PC and MAC. It is also known under the name of bus IEEE 1394, the Firewire term having with the departure popularized by APPLE.
The speed transmission of Firewire, much faster than the USB, makes of it the ideal Port for the multi-media connection of peripherals: numerical camera, caméscopes numerical, scanners... There are two standards IEEE 1394a and IEEE 1394b (also called Firewire 2) like several types of connectors according to the apparatuses.
