Ethernet
Protocol of local area network normalizes very widespread initially developed by Xerox in the years 1970.
The Ethernet standard uses the method of division of technical support CSMA/CD and corresponds to the standard IEEE 802.3. Macintosh and the majority of the PC are provided with a chart Ethernet 10/100 making it possible to assemble a small local area network quickly (LAN) and to connect themselves to Internet. The band-width is 10 Mbit/s for normal Ethernet, 100 Mbit/s for Fast Ethernet and 1 Gbit/s for the Ethernet Gigabit.
