DMA
Canal+ of direct access to the memory of a computer
Channels DMA (Direct Access Memory) make it possible to carry out direct transfers of data between the read-write memory of a computer and peripherals. The advantage of this process is not to pass by the microprocessor which can be thus devoted to other tasks. The use of channels DMA thus improves the performances of a computer.
