Definition
The CDM is a European standard of description of programs of studies and course. They are Metadata.
Description
The offer of formation of the higher education can be presentée according to a structure of Metadata Of the Norwegian specialists (of Open University of Norway) created the CDM (Race Metadata Description). The interest of this structure of Metadata is to give more visibility to the offer of formation to support the mobility of the students in Europe and at the international level. Thus, information can be exchanged between différens information processing systems without losses of information (interworking). The CDM falls under the Community will, anchored on the process of Bologna, to support the mobility of the students in Europe and to reinforce the international radiation of the offer of formation of the European higher education.
