Bluetooth
Communications protocol by waves radios defined by Ericsson, IBM, INTEL, Nokia and Toshiba
This Protocol aims at standardizing the communications without wire short distance between personal computers, assistants (PDA), telephones and other peripherals. Envisaged to be used with portable peripherals, this Protocol consumes little energy and has an operating range limited (lower than 100 meters). The name Bluetooth comes from the nickname of a Swedish king who it first succeeded in gathering and federating the Scandinavian countries.
