Definition
Baule: commune of the Atlantic littoral located in the department of Loire-Atlantique (44) on the Coast of Love between St-Nazaire and Croisic
Description
With the origin, small village drowned in the dunes and called Bôle in reference to these sand extents which bordered it, it took the name of Baule that one knows to him today only in 1896 at the same time as it was its first successes as a seaside resort à .la.mode. Today, proud of its fame of more beautiful beach of Europe, Baule counts approximately 16 000 inhabitants in winter and 120 000 inhabitants in estival period. It is twinned with the commune of Hamburg in Germany and that of Inverness in Scotland. Its inhabitants are Baulois
