Bandwidth
The Band-width represents the quantity of data which can be transmitted in a given time.
For numerical transport, the Band-width is often expressed out of bits a second (bps), kilo bits a second (Kbps = 1000 bps), kilo bytes a second (Ko/s), mega bits per seconds (Mbps), mega bytes a second (Mo/s = 1000 Ko/s). For analogical transport the Band-width is expressed in Hertz, equivalent to the number of cycle a second.
