BIOS
This software gives the first instructions to the starting of a computer.
The BIOS is a whole of software routines in read-only memory (ROMANIAN and EEPROM). Accessible in general to starting from the computer (often while pressing on the Suppr. key), it comprises several screens of adjustments. The majority of the users do not make any adjustment of the BIOS; it should however be made sure that the processor functions well at its speed of operation. For that it is necessary to regulate the FSB and the multiplying coefficient on the values corresponding to the processor. The BIOS also allows many adjustments which can useful as long as the computer functions well. Let us quote all the same the adjustment of the timings of RAM which can save a little performances. These screens of adjustment also in general indicate the temperature of the CPU and the mother chart.
