BGP
Definition
BGP is a protocol of routing defined by the IETF in document RFC 1771 (BGP-4).
Description
More precisely, protocol BGP makes it possible to define the roads to be used to transfer the data on Internet between what one calls of the Autonomous Systems. An Autonomous System is a network or a whole of networks which have the same rules of routing (for example the network of a Supplier of Access to Internet or FAI).
